Swami Viditatmanandaji
Kathopanisad Mantra 1-3-1
Bhagavad Gita 7-14 onwards

In these verses of the KaÖha Upanisad, Lord Yama teaches a means of reaching the ultimate goal (paramam padam), which is recognition of one’s identity with the all-pervading Lord, Vishu. Beginning with the senses, one is led to a discriminative appreciation of subtler, more intimate, and more pervasive levels of oneself, culminating in the limitless being (purusa) who is free from any attribute and is the content of everything. Knowing this, one is freed from the struggle to become.

In these verses from Chapter 7 of the Bhagavad Gita, Bhagavan Krsna describes the values and attitudes needed to assimilate knowledge of the self (please see description under Family Vedanta Course II).

Swami Pratyagbodhanandai
Selected verses from Narada Bhakti Sutra

These sutras, attributed to the sage Narada, define true devotion and discuss the nature of the supreme love of Isvara. They also provide instruction for the dedicated seeker to achieve a mind that can sustain this devotion and thereby assimilate the vision of the sastra as oneness
with the reality of Isvara. Swamiji will unfold selected sutras.
